7:30-8:30pm: CONCERT  at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). Back by popular demand, youth group Encore is getting back together for this special concert just for Christmas by the Sea. Support our local youth as they support their community! Free admission.

9:30-11am: VISIT WITH SANTA upstairs at the Fire Station (School Street). Get there a little early to see Santa arrive by fire engine. Have your photo taken with Santa and pick it up later at Ogunquit Camera Shop.

10am-4pm: HAY RIDES at Veteran's Park. $5 per person. Weather permitting.

10am-3pm: BASEMENT BAZAAR downstairs at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street). Canít figure out what to get for that hard-to-buy-for person? Find a little bit of everything and something for everyone at this bazaar.

10am-3pm: ANNUAL ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW at the Fire Station on School Street). Proceeds benefit Ogunquit Fire Rescue.

10:30am-1pm: THE "GIVING TREE" SILENT AUCTION downstairs at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street). Theme-decorated artificial trees have been donated by local businesses and individuals, to be silent auctioned. Be sure to bid on the popular lottery tree! Proceeds go to Hospice of York.

11am-1:30pm: TASTE THE SEASON (previously known as Chowderfest) upstairs at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street). Taste a variety of foods (including chowder) from local dining establishments. Beer and wine tastings, too! Bring a donation for our local food pantry or animal shelter. VIP early admission at 11am: $15. Regular admission beginning at 11:45am: $10. 11am- 3pm: MEET THE ARTIST at Abacus Gallery, 213 Main Street. Nationally known calendar artist Dana Heacock will be signing 2015 Abacus calendars. A selection of his artwork will be displayed in the gallery. 207-646-0399

11:30am-3:30pm: MIXED CARGO at Gypsy Sweethearts, 30 Shore Road. Local art by Claire Bigbee, Phyllis Baisen, Colleen Ford, Madeline Hopkins, Susan Levenson. 12pm: OGUNQUIT OCEAN RESCUE POLAR PLUNGE at the Main Beach. Come support Toys for Tots and cheer on our Ogunquit Ocean Rescue Service as they brave the wintry elements.  Members will plunge into the ocean in Polar Bear fashion with the hopes of ensuring a Merry Christmas for all. Please bring unwrapped toys, donations, and plenty of good cheer! Please note -- due to property safety concerns, parking will not be available in the Main Beach Parking Lot after noon on Saturday. Parking will be available at the Lower Lot, on River Road.

12:30-1:30pm: KIDS' ORNAMENT AND CHRISTMAS CARD MAKING downstairs at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). Weíll bring the supplies; kids bring the creativity! Drop in to make an ornament or card to take home or send to Grandma.

1-5pm: OPEN HOUSE at Ogunquit Heritage Museum (Obed's Lane). Holiday decorations, winter paintings, creches and menorahs, plus refreshments. 

1pm: GINGERBREAD GARLAND DECORATING CLASS at the Beachmere Inn's Blue Bistro. Create your own personalized Gingerbread Garland with your family members'  names on each one.  Each cookie is hand decorated and tied with a decorative ribbon and then attached to the garland. Gingerbread Garland Kit.....(5 cookies).....$15...each additional cookie $3; Individual Gingerbread Men for decorating $5; Decorated Gingerbread Men $5. 1:45-2:45pm: HOLIDAY STORY HOUR at Pearl (99 Perkins Cove Road) Seasonal stories read to the little ones! Check visitogunquit.org for more details on the location.

2-5pm: WINE TASTING Village Food Market (230 Main Street). Featuring great wines for the holidays, with cheese and crackers.

2-5pm: BEER TASTING Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza and Craft Beer (228 Main Street). Beer tasting with Ommegang Brewery.

3-4pm: CHRISTMAS PARADE Entrance of Perkins Cove to Main Beach. Presented by the Village Spirit Committee. Weather permitting.

3-6pm: WINE TASTING Perkins & Perkins Wine & Cheese Shop (478 Main Street). Featuring wines from France that are great for holiday gifts.

4:30pm: SING-A-LONG End of Beach Street. Caroling leading up to the fireworks display! Please note -- due to property safety concerns, parking will not be available in the Main Beach Parking Lot after noon on Saturday. Parking will be available at the Lower Lot, on River Road.

5pm: FIREWORKS! A magnificent fireworks display will be shot from the Main Beach Parking Lot. Please note -- due to property safety concerns, parking will not be available in the Main Beach Parking Lot after noon on Saturday. Parking will be available at the Lower Lot, on River Road.

6:30pm: LIVING MANGER at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). Beautifully performed by members of Ogunquit Baptist Church, this living nativity reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. Weather permitting.

7-8pm: CONCERT The Wandering Minstrel at Ogunquit Baptist Church (157 Shore Road). The Wandering Minstrel is a Christmas by the Sea staple, but you may not have come across him in your own wanderings in previous years. Cole in out of the cold to enjoy some traditional Christmas songs. Free admission.

2-4pm: CLASSIC FILM SERIES PRESENTS DEI FLEDERMAUS at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street). Known as the ďChampagne OperettaĒ, Die Fledermaus is the most brilliant and popular of any written by the Waltz King, Johann Strauss. Major opera companies around the world frequently use it as their holiday presentation, and symphony orchestras do likewise with its overture. This lavish production was filmed for the BBC at a live performance on New Yearís Eve at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden in London. Free admission and holiday treats.

2pm: SOUTHERN MAINE CHRISTMAS PARADE in Wells. Wells Plaza to Wells Junior High School.

8pm: RUSTED ROOT CONCERT at Jonathan's Restaurant (Bourne Lane). Six piece acoustic, rock, world, and percussion band from Pittsburgh has sold over three million albums worldwide and is coming to Jonathan's Ogunquit for their second time this year! Reservations required: 207-646-4777.
